We have a fantastic road-map ahead for DAP – all core features will continue to be improved, and we’re constantly adding new features in every release – like for eg., the powerful DAP Shopping Cart Plugin which is FREE to all DAP users – a cart that rivals many paid shopping carts in terms of its unlimited 1-click upsells & coupons all of which can be done for FREE with our cart. We can’t give you specifics of our road-map much for the same reason companies like Apple don’t tell their users about what’s in the next iPhone – mostly to retain a competitive advantage and not give our competitors an convenient heads-up about what’s cooking in the DAP headquarters.
No one listens to their customers more than we do – every release we add or improve upon tens of features based on customer complaints, customer pain points, customer wish-lists, and more. That’s how we have continued to stay relevant and remain one of the most popular membership plugins available anywhere, 6 years after we launched.
When Windows 8 was introduced I know you were eager to try it on your system, but you were nervous that you might experience some difficulties adjusting to the operating itself and you don’t want to format your drives because we know how tedious it is to install your applications and games and that would really consume a lot of time. If you really want to try the new OS of Windows, we suggest that you set dual boot instead. With this application you can try both OS without sacrificing for the need to format your drives.
Apple has added a feature to Safari in iOS 8 that is said to allow its user to fill any online payment forms by just using its iPhone camera, thanks to its optical character recognition that can scan credit card details. Not only it makes the online shopping process easy but also it will notify the owner if the card is already expired. The new option is visible at sites like Amazon when you typically enter credit card information manually or through the existing AutoFill feature. This newly added feature is similar to a method Apple provides for adding iTunes gift cards to an AppleID.
I’m sure this is one of the most common mistakes every pc user encounter when selecting a bunch of files while holding the Ctrl key, and then accidentally duplicate all the files selected because you slightly moved your mouse. For others who accidentally deleted their files and don’t want to search in the recycle bin because of too many junk files then you can simply use the Ctrl+Z shortcut key or use Edit \ Undo on the menu to immediately undo an accidental file move or deletion. This windows shortcut works on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and even on the latest Windows 8.1
If your computer is old enough and you think bypassing the Windows splash screen will lessen the time to get to the desktop. Then you might want to check this cool windows trick on how you can skip this splash screen during boot up time. Once you are on the desktop, click start and launch the Windows Run command (Windows Logo+R), then type msconfig. Under the Boot tab, check the box next to “No GUI boot.” Hit the OK or Apply button to save the changes.
If you are the kind of person who likes to open a lot of browser tabs, documents, and apps hibernating your Windows 7 is really a must instead of shutting it down and reopening all these stuff. Here is a trick how you can easily assign a keyboard shortcut to hibernate your desktop pc.
Assigning keyboard shortcut to hibernate function in Windows 7:
Step 1: Right-click on the Windows 7 desktop, select New and then Shortcut.
Step 2: In the dialog box, enter shutdown /h and click Next button.
Step 3: Enter a name for the shortcut (ex: hibernate hotkey) and click on the Finish button to see a new shortcut on the desktop.
Step 4: Right-click on the shortcut icon and select Properties.
Step 5: Under Shortcut tab, select Shortcut key field, press a combination of keys and click Apply button to assign a keyboard shortcut.
Basically what we did here is that we created a desktop shortcut that will trigger the hibernate function. As the title suggest, we are creating a command using keyboard shortcut so you won’t need to double click the shortcut created in the destop. Lastly, if you don’t like to see the shortcut icon on the desktop, right-click on the shortcut and select Properties. Under General tab, check the box named Hidden to make the icon disappear from desktop.
Compared to previous version of Windows, the new Windows 8(8.1) has a new hotkey combination that lets you take and save screenshots instantly. Before, for you to take a screenshot you need to press the shortcuts needed and then paste into Paint or any photo editor. Now you can instantly save a screenshot directly to the pictures folder with a png image file by holding the Windows key down and press the Print Screen key.
So you’ve bought your first android smartphone installed free apps and games, then what’s next? How about root your device? If this is your first time to hear/read the word root or rooting then you might want to continue reading this article.
FYI, Rooting bypasses Android’s security system and you may control your device core apps as if there is no restriction. You can even delete unnecessary applications not needed to free up some space from your ROM. Another special about rooting is that you can install android applications which are created for rooted devices only, meaning if your phone is not rooted you won’t able to use these apps.
When you root your device, you can allow apps to run as the root user. This gives them access to the entire system, which allows them to do things that wouldn’t normally be possible. Just a reminder that apps that require root access can be especially dangerous and should be scrutinized extra carefully.
Last time, I’ve explained how to delete your browser history to protect your important login credentials. This time what I’m going to share to you is a new browsing technique which is widely use now on major browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome called Private Browsing.
To enable private browsing in Mozilla Firefox click the Firefox icon and select start private browsing. While on Internet Explorer Click the gear icon and hover the mouse over safety, then select InPrivate Browsing. Lastly, on Google Chrome click the menu button and choose new incognito window.
What private browsing does is – it prevents your Internet browser from saving your browsing history. This means anyone else who uses your computer will not be able to see your online activity.
What’s the use of operating a computer remotely? Well, first thing is when you forgot something in your computer and you need to send it remotely to where you are, second would be if you need some help from an expert and he or she can’t help you personally then controlling your pc remotely will definitely the best option you have.
To do this you can use your Windows built-in function but it is not that user friendly especially if you are just doing it for the first time, that’s why they have created the Team Viewer. It is a third party software that you can install on your pc. You can use team viewer to remotely access your friend’s computer system where in both parties connect to a server which sets up a session between both. Using Team Viewer is safe and secure because no one can access your pc till he or she has your id and password.
